In 1982, Nike released the Air Force 1 for the first time. The high version of the sneaker was introduced as a shoe ideal for basketball. A few years later, the low version of the AF-1 was released. Within a few years, a lot of sneaker fans had a pair of these in their closet. Forty years later, the brand still releases new colorways, including the 'Metallic Silver'.
The upper of the shoe is made of leather. Almost the entire shoe is in white. This colour is reflected on the toebox, overlays, tongue and Swoosh. On the side panel, there is a silver colour with a metallic finish. This effect is also found on the silver heeltab.
