NAKED and adidas Originals are teaming up once again
NAKED and adidas Originals have teamed up several times before, with previous designs for the adidas Samba. In August 2024, they’re joining forces for the seventh time to give this classic silhouette a fresh update. This time, however, it’s not just the Samba making a return; they’re also bringing out the adidas Tischtennis. This marks the first collaboration for this model since its original release 46 years ago. The new pack, launching on 13 September 2024 at several retailers, is inspired by the concept of the ‘patient artisan’.
This new pack honours the artists and craftsmen of the past who paved the way with their handmade artistry. The collection features two models: the adidas Samba OG and the Tischtennis, both adorned with elegant lace patterns and a symbolic daisy. The daisy represents purity and love, and symbolises the fusion of craftsmanship and creativity.
On the Samba OG, the lace patterns are subtly incorporated into the Three Stripes and the heel, with a blend of leather and suede. The Tischtennis sports a different design, with the lace pattern covering almost the entire upper. Both sneakers have a completely white upper that highlights the refinement and elegance of the collection.
