Ice Studios debuts New Balance collaboration with the Minimus Trail
Ice Studios, a collective from London and New York, is collaborating with New Balance for the first time. For their first collaboration, the duo is using a very unique silhouette: the Minimus Trail. The silhouette also recently appeared on the feet of rapper and New Balance partner Action Bronson.
The Minimus Trail is a striking silhouette, in part because of its sleek and aggressive design. As the name implies, the model is designed for trail running. As such, the sneaker comes with a rugged outsole and a supple upper that moves with every movement.
It seems that New Balance has big plans for this silhouette, since Action Bronson, New Balance's flagship sneaker, will also release its own colorway for this model, although it is not yet known when exactly. While we wait for this silhouette, we can get ready for the Ice Studios collab.
The sneaker has a colorful design that uses primary colors in particular. The upper is made of sturdy layered mesh. The N logo and mudguard are 3D-printed. The FuellCell midsole provides cushioning and comfort, and the rubber outsole provides grip. The Ice Studios logo appears on the tongue.
