Air Force 1 'TINAJ' is Nike's first physical .SWOOSH trainer
Nike's digital platform .SWOOSH releases its first physical trainer: the Air Force 1 Low 'TINAJ' (This Is Not A Jpeg). It serves as an appreciation to those who have been involved from the beginning and have followed the brand on its virtual journey.
Is this the first time you have heard of this programme? It was in November 2022 that Nike introduced itself in 'web3' with the launch of its digital platform .SWOOSH, which is all about innovation and community. Earlier, Nike released its first virtual Air Force 1 collection under the name 'Our Force 1'.
The 'TINAJ' trainer features a simple two-tone colour palette on the tumbled leather upper. For example, the toe box is finished in white, while the quarter panels and heel are black. In addition, Nike has replaced the traditional Swoosh logo on the tongue and toe box with the new .SWOOSH logo. Moreover, we see a special embroidery on the heel with the text "this is not a JPEG" surrounding the .SWOOSH logo. Finally, the design is completed by the white midsole and the transparent, icy outsole.
The Nike .SWOOSH Air Force 1 Low 'TINAJ' will be launched on 20 October 2023 via SNKRS Exclusive Access.
