CAYL x New Balance 1906R 'Floating Blue'

Back in July 2024, the first glimpses of the CAYL x New Balance 1906R 'Floating Blue' surfaced. Now, in August 2024, we’ve finally got an official release date: the 'Floating Blue' colorway is set to drop on 23rd August 2024 at 10:00 AM, exclusively at New Balance.

Alongside the release date announcement, new images have been shared, giving us a closer look at the sneaker. The campaign shots feature the shoe against a backdrop of a waterfall that perfectly matches the blue hue of the sneaker’s upper. This natural setting is no surprise, as CAYL is all about that strong connection with nature.

New Balance frequently teams up with other brands, and in July 2024, we can expect an exciting collaboration. Together with CAYL, short for Climb As You Love, they have given the New Balance 1906R a makeover, blending outdoor functionality with urban style in a unique way.

The CAYL x New Balance 1906R boasts a distinctive design that's both durable and comfortable. Its upper is crafted from lightweight ripstop nylon, offering a semi-transparent look for a unique aesthetic while ensuring breathability during outdoor adventures.

Inspired by natural elements, the colour palette features blue accents complemented by black details on the N logo, laces, tongue, and the CAYL logo on the heel. The shoe includes a quick lace setup with a lace toggle for added convenience.

Finally, the black midsole and matching outsole not only provide a streamlined appearance but also deliver excellent grip and support on various surfaces.
