The Air Jordan 2 silhouette has been making a big comeback for a while now with popular colorways. In 2022, we have also seen strong collaborations with Maison Château Rouge, UNION LA, Nina Chanel Abney, J. Balvin and more on the Air Jordan 2! Now the UNC to Chicago theme moves into the next round and gets its place on the Jordan 2 silhouette.
The 'UNC to CHI' colorway was made in honour of Michael Jordan's switch from his college team, the University of North Carolina, to the Chicago Bulls and features the colours of both teams. The sneaker has a white base, with subtle accents in blue and red. So we see the colour combination between the red of Chicago Bulls and the blue of the University of North Carolina.
The sneaker has a sole in 'Sail' and the mudguard also sports this colour. The Wings logo on the tongue is white with red and the new Jordan 2 also comes with dark blue and red laces. You can see the first on-feet images of the colorway below.
The release of the Air Jordan 2 Low 'UNC to CHI' is expected for next year, 8 March 2023. The sneaker will cost €220.
