Wales Bonner x adidas SL 72 Knit 'Team Green'

adidas x Wales Bonner presenting a Jamaica collection, dear community. The new 2023 collaboration between the two brands is about to hit the shelves on June 9, 2023. The latest images of the collab have released and it pays tribute to the beautiful island and its culture.

Shown at Wales Bonner's SS23 runway show, the collab features vintage adidas silhouettes and combines it with Caribbean colors and contemporary touches. In return, Wales Boner creates an summer-ready outfit that brings the vibe of the Jamaican culture.

The Wales Bonner x adidas collection

Let us look at the the sneakers that are releasing with this collab. The crown jewel of the collab when it comes to the footwear is the adidas Samba that arrives in two different designs. One colorway comes in a more neutral color palette with a nubuck upper and leather stripes. The other one features a silver leather upper and crochet stripes.

Next to the Sambas, the retro silhouette of the SL72 also makes an return with a knitted upper in two colorways. Both paying homage to Jamaican culture.

The rest off the collection consists of nylon track suits in light teal, sweater vests and metallic silver track bottoms. To top of the collection, Jamaican icons like the Harrington jacket and flared trousers have been given the adidas x Wales Bonner look as well.
