In 2023, Nike revived many Air Max 1 models from their archive. We saw an updated edition of the 'Shima Shima' colourway, and of course the beloved 'Big Bubble' returned. Now, some images have emerged of a new AM1 that looks a lot like the 2003 Nike Air Max 'Chili'. When we can expect to see this classic is unclear for now, but we will probably see the colorway back in 2023.
The new version of the sneaker colors 'White', 'Black', 'Pure Platinum', and 'University Red'. Small differences can be noted between the 2023 edition of the trainer and its 20-year-old predecessor. For instance, the newer version uses a lighter shade of grey in its upper, the label on the tongue is white instead of red and, finally, the branding on the heel has been replaced for a black color.
When the new Air Max 1 will be released is unknown for now. We can most likely expect the sneaker in 2023. Until then, you can just enjoy these first images of the model.
