A few days ago, it was announced that the Nike SB Air Max 95 will be released in 2025. Now, in June 2024, rumours are circulating that the iconic Nike Air Force 1 will also get a Nike SB makeover. This classic sneaker design might get some new upgrades for skating without losing its timeless style.
Nike SB is not sitting still when it comes to re-releasing iconic models. In 2023, we saw the Nike SB Air Jordan 4 'Pine Green', considered by many to be the sneaker of the year. In addition to new colorways of this model, we can also look forward to the launch of the very first Nike SB Air Force 1.
Nike SB Air Force 1
Nike first introduced the Air Force 1 Low in 1982. This sneaker has left its basketball roots far behind and has since become a cultural phenomenon. The arrival of the Nike SB Air Force 1 Low adds a new chapter to this rich story.
Although no images have leaked yet, the SB Air Force 1 is expected to receive similar tweaks to the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 and the Nike SB Air Max 95. Possible upgrades include a Zoom Air unit in the heel for better shock absorption, a grippy rubber sole for ultimate board feel, and reinforced stitching for extra durability.
The Nike SB Air Force 1 is expected to be released in 2025 at selected skate shops, both physical and online, and at Nike itself.
