Nike had put the release in collaboration with the American rapper on hold after the tragic events at the Astroworld festival in 2021. Now, the release of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Air Trainer 1 SP is imminent. The Air Max 1's will drop on Friday, May 27 at 09:00 am and the two Air Trainer 1 SPs will be released two hours later at 11:00am. Both models will be available in different colorways. Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 'Baroque Brown' | DO9392-200
The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 'Baroque Brown' features a unique look. The upper of the AM1 has been reworked by the brand of the American rapper. The base of the upper is made of corduroy in a light cream colour. This colour is also found on the reversed Swoosh on the side of the AM.
The side panel on the outside is in an organic shape in brown. This brown colour is repeated on the tongue and on the overlay under the laces.
The mudguard on this Air Max does not go all the way around. It is dark brown, just like the heeltab. Part of the toe box is also this colour. The side panel on the inside is the same colour as the base of the upper and the Swoosh.
The lining and insole are the same dark brown colour as on the mudguard. On the left insole is the Cactus Jack logo in red and on the right one the Nike Air logo. On the tongue is a different variation of the Cactus Jack logo. The laces are red, just like the upper lacing eyes and the lining of the tongue.
On the heeltab, the Nike and Cactus Jack logos are indicated with a red flag. This provides an outdoor look. The outsole is black with the text 'CACTUS CORPORATION' on it.

Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 'Saturn Gold' | DO9392-700
The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 will also be released in a 'Saturn Gold' colorway. Unlike the other colour scheme, almost every element of this sneaker consists of a light yellow colour.
The base of the upper has an even lighter yellow colour than the rest of the elements. With the even lighter colour Nike provides some more dimension. The laces on this pair are blue-grey, as are the Nike and Cactus Jack branding on the yellow insoles. The alternative Cactus Jack logo on the tongue is turquoise.
The flags on the heeltab are dark red, with yellow branding. The logo of both Nike and Travis Scott's brand can be seen here. The outsole also reads 'CACTUS CORPORATION'.
Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 SP 'Grey Haze' | DR7515-001
In addition to the Air Max 1, Travis Scott and Nike will also release two different Air Trainer 1 SPs, including the 'Grey Haze'. As the name of the colorway reveals, this colour scheme consists mainly of shades of grey.
One of the most striking elements is the quiet upper. The upper is made of different materials and different colours, but it remains quiet. This is partly due to the missing Swoosh on the outside.
The Swoosh returns on the inside in Travis Scott's reverse in a light green colour. This colour matches up nicely with the grey shades of the base. Surrounding the upper are several snaps, making it look like the design is not quite finished.
Over the instep is a Velcro-strap. This is in a cream colour and has the text 'CACT.US CORPORATION' in green on it. The green colour is repeated on the branding on the tongue and on the insole.
There is also a special element on the heel. The heel cap is darker than the rest of the upper and has rubber branding. Above the branding is a zip and by opening this, you can access a small pocket on the back of the shoe.
The midsole consists of different shades of grey, while the outsole is white.
Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 SP 'Ashen Slate' | DR7515-200
The other colorway of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 SP features 'Ashen Slate'. This colorway is a lot darker and fits into Travis' color scheme. The upper is made up of different shades of brown and old pink. Unlike the other colorway, this pair does have a Swoosh on the outside.
The reversed Swoosh is also present on this pair and can be seen on the inside of the sneaker. This is in a red rust colour and is a shade darker than the colours of the upper. The heeltab and mudguard are so dark brown, it is almost black. A lighter shade is used on the strap above the instep.
There is also an additional pocket on the heel of this colorway. The zip is in the same colour as the heel cap, while the branding is light pink, as is the heel.
