On Thursday 20 October 2022, two new New Balance 990v2 colorways will be released, dear community. At exactly 10.00am, the New Balance 990v2 Made in USA ’Seasalt’ & ’Navy’ will be available at various stores. Founded in 1982, the New Balance 990 line celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022 and does so for example with these new styles.

New Balance 990v2 Made in USA 'Seasalt' | M990TA2
The New Balance 990v2 Made in USA 'Seasalt' is the first colorway we will take a closer look at in detail. Despite the silhouette being somewhat overshadowed by the releases of other models, the popularity of the New Balance 990v2 has once again risen.
The upper comes in patriotic colours that reference the US flag. For instance, the side panels are in off-white and the overlays on the front and back come in a dark blue suede. The red colour of the flag can be seen on the heel, the signature 'N' logo and the 990 branding on the tongue.
The 'USA' logo appears on the heels and blends well with the rest of the design. In addition, the silhouette is rounded off with the signature ABZORB midsole that has been given a yellowed colour, creating a vintage style. The outsole comes in a combination of black and blue which completes the entire design.
New Balance 990v2 Made in USA 'Navy' | M990TB2
Second, we have the New Balance 990v2 Made in USA 'Navy', a colorway that looks darker than the previous one. This is mainly because of the popular 'Navy' colour that can be seen almost on the entire upper.
The sneaker comes with a combination of mesh and premium pig suede. The mesh comes in a striking light blue shade, while the pig suede gives it a darker 'Navy' colour. The tongue colours grey and is also made of mesh.
Like the previous pair, the colorway features an off-white midsole and the signature ABZORB cushioning. On the tongue, 990 New Balance is stitched in white. In addition, the 'USA' logo reappears on the heel.
