On Thursday March 24, 2022, the Nike Air Max BW 'Marina' will be released. The 'Persian Violet' and 'Black Persian' made a comeback before, now it is the turn for the Marina. To get you ready, we have made a list of all the shops where the Nike Air Max BW 'Marina' will be available!

Nike designer and legend Tinker Hatfield designed the Nike Air Max BW back in 1991. In this year, a handful of OG's were released. One of the lesser known colorways was the Nike Air Max BW 'Marina'. BW stands for 'Big Window' with the designs, referring to the large Air Unit in the sneakers. This Air Unit is bigger than the one on its predecessor, the Air Max 1.
The upper part of the sneaker is made of mesh, leather and neoprene. In addition, the Swoosh, heel and upper lacing eyes are made of rubber. So the shoe comes in a perfect combination of materials.
Two colours of blue have been used for the upper, Marina and Jade. Marina is a dark blue colour and Jade is close to turquoise. The darker colour can be seen on the mesh, the front overlays and on the band that runs around the shoe. The lighter blue is on the Swoosh, collar and midsole.
The midsole is covered in white, and there are also white accents on the upper. This gives the shoe a sporty look. The Air Max branding on the heel and the Nike logo on the insoles and tongue complete the design.
