After a long wait, New York's two-time Thrasher Skater of the Year, Tyshawn Jones, is coming with his next adidas sneaker. The duo previously released the Tyshawn I. Now, they are introducing an entirely new silhouette: the Tyshawn II. The sneaker will drop at 10:00 AM on 1 June 2024 at adidas.
Tyshawn Jones
Tyshawn Jones is a well-known name in American skate culture. Born in 1998, Tyshawn has achieved a lot by the age of 25, both on and off the skatepark. At a young age, he was sponsored by the skate brand Fucking Awesome, appeared in Supreme campaigns, signed with adidas in 2014, and started his own label, King Skateboards, in 2022.
The skateboarder seems far from done. Earlier, the first images of the adidas Tyshawn II were released. Now, the signature silhouette finally has a release date. The sneaker features a low-top construction that appears to draw inspiration from adidas Originals silhouettes.
The white upper is made of leather, with grey and black overlays throughout the design. The adidas Trefoil logo appears on the tongue, and "Tyshawn" is set in gold letters on the heel. The perforated toebox allows the sneaker to breathe, while the black LIGHTSTRIKE midsole provides cushioning and grip.
Additionally, the sneaker will also be available in an all-black variant with gold details on the mid-panel.
