After a long wait, it's finally here: the Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk High. The colorway appeared in 1999 in collaboration with the rap formation known for songs such as 'C.R.E.A.M.,' 'Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing ta F' Wit', and 'Bring Da Ruckus'. The sneaker will arrive in a custom box on November 9, 2024.
A special release like the Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk High deserves a special shoe box, at least that was Nike's opinion and we absolutely agree. In late June 2024, Nike and Wu-Tang posted a clip on Instagram revealing that the Dunk High would be coming back in the 'Goldenrod' colorway.
Not much later, official images of the sneaker appeared and now we see the first images of the shoe-box in which the pair will arrive. Or should we say shoe-box? The Nike Dunk High comes in a hexagon box with the Wu-Tang logo.
Reminiscent of a honeycomb in a beehive, the box refers to the many nicknames associated with the New York rap collective. This limited edition box includes a pair of the Dunk High, a shirt with a Wu-Tang x Nike logo and a candle with the scent of 'Staten Island Honey'.
We also see a photo in which none other than RZA can be seen signing a shoebox, so Wu-Tang and Nike may be hosting some sort of giveaway for this once-in-a-lifetime set. The Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk High drops on November 9, 2024.
