Travis Scott makes it harder to cop the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Velvet Brown'
(Updated on 06/12/2024)
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Velvet Brown' is going to be harder to cop than originally thought. Rumours suggest that the sneaker, which is expected to drop on 21st December 2024, will be available at fewer retailers. This is because Scott wants more control over the release process, meaning a bigger chunk of the stock will likely go through his own site, TravisScott.com.
This change seems to be setting the tone for future releases, like the Jordan Jumpman Jack 'Bright Cactus' and the Zoom Field Jaxx 'Light Chocolate,' both set for 2025. For sneakerheads, this means the competition for Scott's kicks is only going to get tougher. On top of that, there are concerns about the reliability of his site and the raffle system. So, get ready for a much tougher battle to snag these exclusive kicks, and make sure to keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar!

In 2023, it was rumoured that Travis Scott and Jordan Brand were going to stop dropping new Air Jordan 1 colorways. But nothing turned out to be further from the truth, meanwhile Scott's Cactus Jack brand also has some eye-catching releases to its name in 2024. However, the collab won't stop at 2024 as it is rumoured that some new colorways await us in 2025 as well.
The first images of an Air Jordan 1 Low in a 'Velvet Brown' colorway have surfaced. The images reveal a premium suede sneaker adorned with the signature elements of the collaboration, including an oversized, reversed Swoosh on the side panel and the 'Cactus Jack' logo on the tongue and inner panel.
