Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Black Olive' release cancelled
In early 2024, we saw the first images of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Black Olive,' a sneaker very reminiscent of the rapper's previous Air Jordan 1 Low releases. Now it seems the sneaker release has been cancelled. Nike will release the 'Medium Olive' colorway instead of the 'Black Olive' colorway.
Travis Scott and Nike's collabs have been favorites of many sneaker lovers for years. Since the first collaboration in 2017, the Air Force 1 Low 'Sail,' there has been a slew of successful collaborations. The sneakers each come in a distinctive color palette, including the expected 'Black Olive'.
The sneaker has a black upper. Green overlays are placed across the upper. The well-known reversed Swoosh on the mid-panel appears in white on the lateral side and the normal Swoosh in green on the medial. Red details on the tongue and the Cactus Jack logo on the heel complete the sneaker.
Over six months after showing the first images of the 'Black Olive,' @zsneakerheadz informs us that the release will not go through. Instead of the 'Black Olive' release, we can expect the 'Medium Olive' colorway in September 2024.
