In June 2024, we got our first look at the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 530 'Prosperity Be the Prize.' A few months later, the designer has finally announced a release date. The sneaker will drop on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM via New Balance and selected retailers.
The New Balance 530 boasts a striking appearance with a bright green mesh base, complemented by suede details that add a touch of luxury. Additionally, the iconic 'N' logo of New Balance is adorned with a relief of Bembury’s fingerprint— a signature detail in his designs.
The color combination of the sneaker is anything but basic: with accents in purple, pink, and blue, this 530 brings a vibrant twist to the traditional model, giving the Y2K look a modern touch.
The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 530 'Prosperity Be the Prize' first dropped on October 29, 2024, via Bembury’s own site, Be A Spunge. It will also be released at New Balance and selected retailers on November 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
