Patta and Nike are joining forces once again. The Patta x Nike Running Team collection pays tribute to runners and athletes worldwide and does so with an extensive apparel collection and the Nike Air Huarache 20Y24 in three colorways. The collection drops on April 26, 2024.
Patta 20 years
2024 is a big year for Patta. The Amsterdam-based streetwear brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Since its founding in 2004, Patta has become a household name in the sneaker community. With dozens of collaborations to its name, including the recent collab with Converse, Patta now announces its next collab. This time with an old friend.
Together with Nike, Patta introduces the Running Team collection, a collection that celebrates camaraderie, culture, and achievement. With the collection, the duo aims to inspire athletes of all ages and backgrounds to claim their place in the running world. The campaign features Nike running star Sifan Hassan, who embodies strength and resilience as a two-time gold medalist for the Netherlands.
“Patta Running Team was born from a desire to connect with like-minded individuals around the world through the universal language of running,” says Patta cofounder Edson Sabajo, who started the team in Amsterdam in 2010.
“It’s about discovering new places, forging new connections and embracing freedom. Running transcends borders. Because when you run, your mind and spirit are set free to think and dream.”
Nike Air Huarache 20Y24
The collection comes with tracksuits, tops, shorts, a varsity jacket and three colorways of an updated Air Huarache hybrid. The Patta x Nike Air Huarache 20Y24 combines the Huarache Plus upper with the sole of the Nike Pegasus. Straps are placed across the upper to provide strength to the sneaker.
The sneaker arrives in 'White', 'Black', and 'Saffron Quartz' colorways. The tongue features the Patta Running Team logo, which is also placed on items in the collection. Each pair comes with a custom Patta towel.
The Nike x Patta Running Team collection drops at Patta on April 26, 2024. The Patta x Nike Air Huarache 20Y24 'White' is a Patta exclusive and will therefore be available exclusively at Patta.
