Off-White, arguably one of the greatest streetwear brands of recent decades, has played a major role in the world of sneakers. In 2017, the label, led by Virgil Abloh, released 'The Ten', a collaboration with Nike that used Nike's 10 most popular silhouettes.
Two years later, the duo showcased a never-before-seen collab: the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High 'Canary Yellow.' The sneaker was on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, during the 'Figures of Speech' exhibition. This exhibition featured Ablohs work in music, fashion, architecture, and design.
The Air Jordan 1 High 'Canary Yellow' is exactly what you would expect from an Off-White x Nike collab. The sneaker retains the silhouette of the iconic Air Jordan 1 with enlarged overlays. The collar is foam, the Swoosh is stitched onto the center panel, and the lace-up features the well-known tie wrap.
