It was a long time of speculation, but in March 2024, JJJJound finally announced the long-awaited collaboration with adidas. The sneaker, boasting a subtle and understated style characteristic of JJJJound, is the highly anticipated JJJJound x adidas Samba OG set to drop in two colorways on 27th March 2024 at 10.00 am.
JJJJound has become a well-known name in the sneaker scene in recent years. Founded in Montreal in 2006, the brand served as a digital mood board. After collaborations with names like New Balance, ASICS and Salomon, it is now adidas' turn. For their debut collaboration, the Samba OG model will be used.
The adidas Samba OG originally served as an indoor football shoe. But it quickly transitioned into the lifestyle sneaker scene due to its sleek silhouette. The collaboration between JJJJound and adidas, highly anticipated by many, introduces white and black colorways of the Samba OG adorned with gold accents. The understated design unmistakably bears the hallmark of JJJJound, a brand renowned for its clean and minimalist aesthetic.
Constructed with leather uppers and suede overlays, the sneakers feature JJJJound branding on the insole and side panel. Both iterations are completed with the signature gum sole.
