Carhartt WIP is certainly no stranger to impressive collaborations. In recent years, the brand has created striking designs in collaboration with big names like Nike, Converse and New Balance. Following their first joint release in 2022, Carhartt WIP and New Balance are now once again joining forces to revamp the 990v6.
The Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v6 'Sculpture Center' takes its inspiration from local gyms and reflects the no-frills, no-shortcuts mentality that characterizes these environments.
The sneaker has a grey mesh base and is complemented by darker grey accents on the heel, part of the midsole and the 'N' logos on both sides of the shoe. In addition, three different shades of brown have been used for the overlays, with leather and suede complementing each other.
The tongue label comes in a military green colour with the Carhartt WIP logo on it in black. Finally, co-branding can be seen on the insoles, where both the 'NB' and 'C' logos can be seen.
