BLACK Comme des Garçons (CDG), the sub-label of Japanese label Comme des Garçons, is once again joining forces with Nike. The duo has released several sneakers in the past, think the Air Max TL 2.5, ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low and the Pegasus 5. The releases each appeared in black colourways.
And as you'd already guessed it, the anticipated Air Force 1 is no exception.
The sneaker already appeared at Dover Street Market recently. The Air Force 1 colors black from head to toe, a bold choice considering the reputation of all-black AF1s. But as with every design BLACK CDG releases, it works. So the playful white details on the upper do help.
On the centre panel, the word ‘BLACK’ is placed in wobbly letters below the Swoosh. On the heel, CDG is placed in white and other co-branding appears on the midsole.
The BLACK CDG x Nike Air Force 1 has already been dropped and is available at selected retailers. Check out the official images of the sneaker below.
