In the past year, 2022, we have seen different colorways of the Air Jordan 2. Think big collaborations with Maison Château Rouge, Titan, UNION LA and J. Balvin. Before 2022 officially comes to an end, Jordan Brand will be re-dropping a classic: the Air Jordan 2 'Chicago'.
As the name suggests, the colorway comes in the colours of the Chicago Bulls: red, white and black. This also makes this design hugely popular. The base of the pair is made of smooth white leather. A white leather overlay with the texture of a lizard's skin is placed on the centre panel.
The laces, sock lining and midsole have been given a contrasting black colour. The iconic winged logo on the tongue comes in a slightly deeper shade of red, while clean lines along the heel and the Nike logo complete the design.
We had to wait 18 years for it, but the Air Jordan 2 'Chicago' will finally be re-released. We can expect the pair on 30 December 2022.
