Jordan Brand’s gearing up for a big one in 2025 – the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1. You know what that means: loads of exciting drops on the horizon. Lately, we’ve been seeing a few Air Jordan 1 High colorways getting the low-top treatment, and now there’s a fresh rumour in the mix. Word is, we’re getting an Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG NRG in Black/Muslin/Varsity Red in 2025.
How the colours will be laid out isn’t confirmed yet, but the mix of black, muslin, and varsity red gives serious Chicago vibes with a twist. It’s not just another rehash of the classic though. Where the OG Chicago from ’85 stuck to red, black, and white, this version throws muslin into the mix, adding a subtle but clean update to the palette.
What makes this drop even more special? It’s an NRG edition, which usually means exclusivity – so expect something a bit extra with this release.
Official pics haven’t surfaced yet, but mock-ups are already doing the rounds online. If the rumours are true, you can expect these to hit shelves in autumn 2025. Stay tuned to the Sneakerjagers news page for all the latest updates – you don’t want to miss this one!
