Once again, LeBron James has made history. This time by surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA's number one scorer! And to celebrate, Nike, The Surgeon commissioned a unique LeBron 20. The custom-made Nike LeBron 20 "The Moment" serves as a totem of the living legend's milestone.
The luxurious materials and gold details are more than fitting for King James. For the shoe is mainly made of crocodile leather and is all about luxury. Think accents, such as the Swoosh and various references to milestones of LeBron's career, cast in gold. Also, the record of 38,388 points is boldly printed on the outsole.
The golden colour continues to the lining and half of the midsole. An array of gold graphics is visible on the other half. The iconic double Swoosh has an understated base layer with a metallic gold croc layer on top. Furthermore, the Swoosh shines in glittery gold in the centre of the sneaker. Was that all the gold? Definitely not! Additional gold details can be found at the back and the lacing area, such as the LeBron logo.
Unfortunately, basketball and sneaker lovers will have to accept that none of us will ever get the chance to get our hands on a pair ourselves. This is because the marble-wrapped Nike LeBron 20 "The Moment" is only meant for LeBron himself. So we will have to make do with the pictures below.
