After a successful trip to Paris, Tom and Mats are already on their way to one of NS International's many international destinations: Hamburg. This port city in northern Germany, located on the Elbe River, is rich in museums, eateries, and - not to mention - sneaker stores.
With stores like Allike, Nike, BSTN, adidas, and many more, Hamburg is a hotspot for sneaker lovers inside and outside Germany. You will also find clothing boutiques, skate stores, and vinyl stores. In short, a must-visit for fans like you and me.
Sneakerjagers' own Tom and Mats were sent out by NS International to discover Hamburg's hotspots. In this Sneaker Shopping City Guide, they visit their favorite stores and showcase some of the city's highlights.
Hamburg
After an enjoyable five-hour train journey, the Sneakerjagers team arrived in the heart of Hamburg. Similar to their previous trip to Paris, the journey was seamless, requiring only one transfer in Duisburg, and they reached their destination around noon.
After quickly reviewing the schedule and grabbing a döner to-go, the team headed to the first store on the itinerary: Glory Hole Sneaker Shop.
1. Glory Hole Sneaker Shop
Perhaps a striking name for a sneaker store, but Glory Hole Sneaker Shop is a renowned shop in Hamburg. Founded in 2010, the store originated from the iconic retail concept Sneakology, an intimate boutique specializing in rare and retro sneakers from well-known brands.
With years of experience in the industry, the owners of Glory Hole Sneaker Shop bring a lot of expertise and passion to their store. The store looks cozy but has an extensive collection of sneakers from brands such as Nike, adidas, New Balance, and many more.

This record store boasts an extensive collection of vinyl across a wide range of genres, including jazz, soul, hip-hop, electronic, and dance. Alongside new records, you’ll also find second-hand vinyl and limited editions here.

With a record in hand, Tom and Mats continue their route to the next store, one of Tom's personal favorites: JustFitteds. After all, who is Tom without a cap? Tom is not only a sneaker enthusiast but also a big fan of caps—and JustFitteds happens to have an extensive collection of them.
JustFitteds offers the perfect caps for every league, from the NBA and MLB to the NFL. In addition to an exclusive selection of the most limited-edition caps, you'll also find headwear from brands such as Kangol. The store also has its own JustFitteds collection of unique caps and accessories.

It may not be a sneaker store, but the Carhartt WIP store should not be missing from your itinerary through Hamburg. The store has a spacious interior with a modern and sleek design. Carhartt WIP offers a wide range of clothing, gear, accessories, and even home goods.
Large speakers are mounted on the walls of the store, giving it its own look. The works of London artist Lucas Price complete the concept. As with many Carhartt WIP stores, no filming or photography was allowed, but trust us, this store definitely deserves a spot on your list if you are in Hamburg.

Nearby BSTN is the Mexican eatery CHANGO Cantina Mexicana, which specializes in nachos, tacos, quesadillas, and all things from South American cuisine. Hotel PIERDREI
During the trip in Hamburg, the Sneakerjagers team stayed at Hotel PIERDREI. Located in HafenCity, among the iconic warehouses characterized by their red bricks, the hotel felt like the perfect base for the Hamburg trip. With comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and stylish interiors, Hotel PIERDREI was a delight for the Sneakerjagers team.
After a good night’s sleep, day two was on the agenda. On the rooftop terrace with a view of the city and a well-deserved cup of coffee, the team went over the day’s itinerary. Following a quick refresh, a hearty breakfast, and a review of the map, they set off for the first store of day two: KICKZ.

The store has a modern, minimalist design and includes interactive elements that enhance the shopping experience.
In addition to the regular collections, you'll also find exclusive releases and limited editions here. You can even have your purchases personalized with your name or jersey number. During their visit to the store, the Sneakerjagers team was offered a drink to take a moment to relax. After an early wake-up call and a long day ahead, a short break was greatly appreciated. Once they were recharged, it was time to head to the next store: Mantis Skateshop.

13. Allike & a.plus
All good things come to an end, and so did day two in Hamburg. The last store of the trip was Allike, a sneaker boutique characterized by the bird logo. Allike first opened its doors in Hamburg in 2014 and is still a hot spot for sneaker lovers like Tom and Mats.
The store’s interior exudes simplicity. The space is filled with clothing racks stocked with items from brands like Carhartt WIP, Aries, Humanrace, Pop Trading Academy, and more. The sneaker collection features the latest releases, as well as exclusive drops and high-end footwear. Additionally, the store includes a cozy seating area decorated with floating light tubes - crazy.
a.plus
Behind the Allike store is a.plus, the boutique's sublabel. Unlike the main Allike store, a.plus focuses more on design and luxury. The collection features items from brands such as Comme des Garçons, Rick Owens, Stone Island, and Needles.
This location also offers a wide selection of magazines, fragrances, and jewelry. a.plus is located at the same address as Allike, so if you’re heading to Allike during your visit to Hamburg, be sure to check out this store as well.

NS International
After a quick bite, it was time to head to Hamburg's train station, where the train back to the Netherlands was departing. With the tickets available in their app, the Sneakerjagers team was able to check in easily and take their seats in their own compartment. After two eventful days, it was time to return home.
Both Mats and Tom were pleasantly surprised by Hamburg. After their trip to Paris just two weeks earlier, the bar was set high. Whether Hamburg has surpassed Paris, they’re hesitant to say, but according to Tom, a visit to Hamburg should definitely not be underestimated: “Hamburg has impressed me in many ways. From eateries to sneaker shops and design stores - the city is incredibly diverse.”
While Tom was excited about many of the stores they visited, three stood out to him: “Groove City Records, Just Fitteds, and Thomas i Punkt were my favorite spots during this trip. Wherever I go, I always check out the local record stores. Groove City Records is a paradise for hip-hop lovers like me.”
Mats also includes Thomas i Punkt among his favorites: “The store is unique in both its design and collection. Additionally, Allike and BSTN deserve a spot in my top three, thanks to their sleek interiors and extensive selection of sneakers that you won’t find everywhere.”
On behalf of the Sneakerjagers team, we would like to thank NS International for this trip to Hamburg! After Paris and Hamburg, Tom and Mats will take a short break, but they are already looking forward to their next adventure in one of Europe’s best cities.
