Salehe Bembury continues to impress with his unique designs. This time, he’s teamed up with New Balance to create a new version of the 991v2, and the first images are looking promising. During Copenhagen Fashion Week, Bembury gave a sneak peek of his 991v2, having previously given away pairs of his 530s. Check out the initial images below!
As we’ve come to expect from Bembury, the 991v2 is far from ordinary. The sneaker features a mesh base in a deep purple shade, complemented by shaggy suede overlays in a slightly lighter purple. We also see eye-catching accents such as royal blue on the tongue label, topped with an orange logo.
The lining is green, with a splash of lime green on the toe, adding a playful twist to the design. Silver overlays on the toebox add a touch of elegance, while the cream-coloured FuelCell cushioning in the sole ensures comfort and support.
