July 2024 saw the introduction of the New Balance 1906A, a new variant of the popular 1906R, dear community. And now, in October 2024, New Balance is coming out with two new colorways that will be released on 9 October 2024: Concrete and Black.
The 1906A model is reminiscent of New Balance's popular ‘Refined Future’ pack, giving the sneakers a deconstructed look. The details on the upper seem randomly placed, giving a playful and unique look, just like earlier with the 2002R. The new colorways follow the same line, adding a futuristic and edgy twist.
New Balance 1906A 'Concrete' | M1906AG
The Concrete is the more striking of the two. This colourway has a futuristic vibe, with a metallic grey look that immediately catches the eye.
The use of mesh, leather and TPU ensures a firm but comfortable fit, while the double leather layer on the toe and side panel provides an extra luxe look.
Finally, the design is finished off with a grey midsole combined with a black rubber outsole.
New Balance 1906A 'Black' | M1906AF
The Black colorway, on the other hand, offers an understated yet powerful look. The all-black design has a subtly worn finish, giving an edgy feel to the upper.
Although the Triple Black is less pronounced than the Metallic Silver, the subtle grey accents add a nice balance to the design. This colorway is ideal for those who like a minimalist, but cool look.
