The Nike Air Max 1 'Smokey Mauve' will start dropping on 18 January 2024 at 9am at Nike. The colorway already appeared on the '86 Air Max 1 silhouette in 2023. The sneaker features an autumnal colorway. Read more about the upcoming drop here.
The Nike Air Max 1 model, designed by Tinker Hatfield, was introduced in 1987 and was the first Nike silhouette with a visible Air unit. Since its release, a lot of colorways have appeared. Last year, many classics were brought back and Nike does not seem to be done releasing colorways for now.
The next Air Max 1 in the list is the 'Smokey Mauve'. The sneaker combines the colours white, grey and deep red. The upper is white mesh. Grey, suede overlays give the pair strength and colour nicely with the 'Smokey Mauve' mudguard and Swoosh. The Nike label on the tongue and lace eyelets also come in the 'Smokey Mauve' colour.
