Following the recent release of the Nike Air Max DN, Nike now introduces its next silhouette; the Air Max Portal. The sneaker is designed specifically for women. The model embraces the Y2K vibe that is back anno 2024. The first colorways of the Nike Air Max Portal have already been announced.

Nike seems to be on the sentimental tour this year. With the “Cult Classics” series, the brand is bringing back some classic silhouettes, including the Nike Air 180 and classic colorways of silhouettes like the Nike Dunk Low and Air Max 90. Also returning are old classics like the Clogposite.
In addition to bringing back classics, Nike is also focusing on creating new sneakers that embrace the 00s aesthetic. We recently saw the release of the Air Max DN, and now Nike is adding another silhouette to the lineup. The Air Max Portal takes inspiration from the 1990s.
The model is designed specifically for the ladies. The Nike Air Max Portal has a thick sole with enlarged Air units at the heel. The upper combines mesh, leather, and TPU materials. Dynamic lines on the upper give the sneaker a modern look.
The center panel features the mini Swoosh. The logo on the tongue is inspired by Nike sneakers from the 1990s. The forefoot has unique aspects reminiscent of the Air Max Sunder that will also return in 2024.
