On July 26, 2024, the Olympic Games will start. For two weeks, the city of Paris will be dedicated to sports. Nike is capitalizing on this and unveiling a sneaker pack dedicated to this tournament. The 'Olympics' pack consists of four Nike SB silhouettes.
Please note that the sneakers in the pack each have a different release date. The Nike SB Blazer Mid 'Olympics' drops on July 24, 2024, and the Nike SB Zoom Janoski OG+ drops on July 26, 2024. The SB Dunk Low and SB PS8 do not yet have an official release date.
Nike SB 'Olympics' pack
Nike is packing big this Olympics. Following the recent release of the Nike Jam, a silhouette designed specifically for breakdancers during the Olympics, the Nike SB 'Olympics' pack now appears.
The pack consists of the Nike SB PS8, SB Blazer Mid, SB Dunk Low, and SB Zoom Janoski OG+. All four sneakers use matching colors and the well-known 'safari' motif, which made its debut exactly 30 years ago on the Nike Air Safari.
The choice of the Nike SB line is not without reason. During the 2024 Olympics, the sport of skateboarding returns to the big stage. Nike is representing many skaters during the tournament who may now each get their hands on a release.
The Nike SB Blazer Mid is the only sneaker from the pack with a high collar. The sneaker has an upper made of suede in a light beige color. Orange and blue accents contrast nicely with the upper. By the way, this silhouette is also the only one of the pack that does not use the 'safari' print.
The Nike SB Dunk Low 'Safari Olympics' has the most striking design of the four. The upper is made of leather with black and beige elements. The overlays use the 'safari' print. The Nike SB Zoom Janoski OG+ and Nike SB PS8 'Olympic' share the same colors and details. The Nike SB PS8 'Olympic' has a translucent sole with blue details.
Release
The first sneaker from the Nike 'Olympics' pack, the SB Blazer Mid, will drop on July 24, 2024, at Nike and select retailers. The Nike SB Zoom Janoski OG+ will drop on July 26, 2024, and the other two silhouettes are expected in 2024. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates!
