Nike and RTFKT bring NFT sneakers into the real world

Nike's last acquired brand, RTFKT is an organisation that uses the latest Web3 technology to create one-of-a-kind sneakers and digital artifacts. The relatively young company is finding a lot of success by partnering with world-famous artists and luxury houses.

Now RTFKT is using Nike's resources to bring some of their vast NFT collection to life as part of their new project called, Cryptokicks iRL. With this new project, the companies will release digitally-designed Cryptokicks in the real world. The shoes will come out in 4 different colorways, the Ice, Space Matter, Stone, and Blackout editions vary from silver shades to cosmic hues of black complete with various other colors. You can check out images of the shoes below.

People who purchased an RTFKT Lace Engine NFT previously will get access to buy a pair of Cryptokicks iRL sneakers for a minumum of 0.34 ETH (Etherium) depending on the colorway, which at current rates is around €406. People with access will be able to buy the shoes between 12 and 16 December 2022. The shoes, limited to 19000 pairs, will also be raffled to non-NFT holders between 7 and 9 December and the winners will be able to buy a pair for a minimum of 0.44 ETH (€598), only if there are any pairs left after the release for NFT holders. For more information, head to the RTFKT Cryptokicks iRL Lookbook.
