The sneaker that may have received the most variations: the New Balance 1906. After the success of the 1906U, 1906D, and not to forget the 1906 - a hybrid between a sneaker and a loafer—we now see the next silhouette: the 1906W.
The New Balance 1906W features a sleek design. The model stays close to the design of its predecessor, the 1906, but adds wavy, dynamic overlays. Unlike previous designs, the 1906W uses Fantom Fit material. This material was also used on the New Balance 950v2 from 2018.
The material offers ultra-light support without compromising ergonomics. The result is a lightweight sneaker that provides long-lasting comfort. The FantomFit method is visible through a diamond pattern on the sneaker's exterior, giving the silhouette a sharp design.
The model will be introduced in 2025 in two monochrome colorways: black and gray. Both colorways are now available at New Balance; click here to view them. Additionally, we can expect white and navy blue colorways in the future.
