2023 has just arrived, which is why several brands have unveiled festive Lunar New Year collections. Like New Balance, who have launched eight sneakers, including the New Balance 2002R, New Balance 574, New Balance 90/60 and New Balance 550. Atmos gives us an in-depth look at the new New Balance 'Lunar New Year' collection.
The collection comes in a neutral colour palette of brown, beige, grey and white. First up comes the 2002R in three new designs, the first two feature a traditional mixed material construction in light grey and brown grey. On the third, we see the popular 'Protection Pack' theme returning in different shades of grey.
Another popular model is the 550, which has been given a leather upper in monochrome light brown and off-white, with red New Balance branding on the tongue. The 574, comes in a suede and mesh construction in a red and off-white colorway with grey 'N' logos. Finally, the 9060 includes creamy layers accented with silver detailing, red branding and optional red laces.
