Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD is once again teaming up with adidas. The Superstar 'Cement Grey' celebrates the 20th anniversary of the duo's collaboration. The sneaker comes with unique details that hint at the two brands' long-standing collaboration.
The NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Superstar 'Cement Grey' is now available at adidas and selected retailers.
NEIGHBORHOOD is a streetwear brand founded by Shinsuke Takizawa that focuses mainly on designing motorcycle clothing. The clothing items are made with top quality and take inspiration from military and outdoor themes. The brand is mentioned in the same breath as labels such as UNDERCOVER and A Bathing Ape.
In 2024, NEIGHBORHOOD will be collaborating with adidas for 20 years. In those years, the duo has already worked on several silhouettes, including the NMD S1, Adimatic, ZX 8000 and so has the Superstar, which was also used in the first collaboration. The next Superstar now arrives in a 'Cement Grey' colorway.
The sneaker is colored gray from head to toe. White co-brandings are placed on the center panel and heel, hinting at the duo's collaboration. On the heel is placed 'Craft With Pride,' a reference to NEIGHBORHOOD's attention to detail. In the sole, 'TOKYO' is set with a lightning bolt.
