JJJJound reunites with New Balance for a 2002R collab

That New Balance and JJJJound are a golden duo has been proven in previous collaborations. The duo has already collaborated on several projects. Now we see the first images of the 2002R model in a light blue colorway. The sneaker is expected to arrive in 2023.

JJJJound is a design studio based in Montreal, Canada. Founded in 2006 as a "digital mood board," the initiative has grown into a well-known name in the sneaker scene. The brand is known for its sleek and timeless designs. These designs have appeared in the past in collabs with brands such as ASICS, Reebok, BAPE, and even Crocs.

Now the label is showing new images of an upcoming collab with New Balance. The two names have collaborated in the past on silhouettes such as the 991, 990v3, 990v4, and M992J2. For the next collab, we see the popular New Balance 2002R silhouette appearing in a light blue colorway.

The JJJJound x New Balance 2002R features a sleek design. The upper is gray-blue mesh. Suede overlays give the sneaker sturdiness and a chic look. The center panel features the N logo. JJJJound's logo appears on the tongue. The sole is supported by NERGY technology.

When the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R has no official release date yet. However, we can most likely expect the sneaker in late 2023. Keep an eye on the release calendar for the latest updates.
