Having recently seen the J Force 1 'Earth' - a hybrid silhouette designed by Nike and Jaquemus - we now see another collaboration between the two brands. Re-introducing the Nike Air Max 1 '86 was a success in 2023. Having received several colorways, it appears that the French label will also get two.
Nike and Jacquemus have been working together for some time. 2022 marked the release of Nike Air Humara LX as part of the first collection between the two names. Two colorways of the outdoor model featured a mini Swoosh on the center panel, something we see with every Jacquemus x Nike collaboration.
Earlier this week, we saw the first images of a new 'Earth' colorway of the J Force 1. Within a week, images of a Nike Air Max 1 '86 collab also emerged. The iconic silhouette is available in two colorways; silver and white. Insoles, heels, and tongues of both sneakers feature branding from both brands.
There is a mesh variant available in silver. On the center panel, there is a small Swoosh emblem. This sneaker has a chic look thanks to its padded collar. A leather upper is featured on the white variant. The sneaker's toe cap has perforations that allow it to breathe. As compared to the classic Nike Air Max 1, the outsole extends a little further over the nose.
There is still no word on when we can expect the two colorways of the Jacquemus x Nike Air Max 1 '86. Stay tuned for updates on the Sneakerjagers news page and check out the first images below.
