On 26 February 2024, the Jacquemus x Nike Spring 2024 collection was dropped exclusively at Jacquemus. One notable item in this collection is the unique 'Le Swoosh Bag'. This latest collaboration is presented by none other than the fastest woman in the world: American athlete Sha'Carri Richardson.
Le Swoosh Bag
Part of the Spring 2024 collection is the 'Le Swoosh Bag', a leather crossbody bag in the shape of the signature Nike Swoosh. The bag has an adjustable strap, allowing you to wear this bag in different ways. The real eye-catcher of this design is the Jacquemus' branding, which is placed on the outside of the bag.
'Late in 2020, when we started to work on Le Swoosh bag, I was obsessed by the Swoosh itself, on its own. It's a unique logo, I wanted to reinterpret it and make it minimal and all about it,' says Simon Porte of Jacquemus on the design.
'Plus, I always love to work on unique shapes when it comes to bags, and not thinking only about its utility. I wanted a statement accessory that represents Nike at its purest: the iconic Swoosh itself.'
Unisex clothing
Besides the 'Le Swoosh Bag', some unisex garments in pink, red and brown have also been released by Nike x Jacquemus, including T-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants with Swooshes laser-cut out.
As icing on the cake, the Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 'Earth' has also been dropped, the first images of which we saw in January.
Where to cop?
From Monday 26 February 2024, the collection will be available exclusively at Jacquemus. The Le Swoosh Bag was so popular that it sold out in no time. Luckily, you have a second chance, the collection will also be released in the SNKRS app on 5 March 2024.
