In 2024, Nike may not have an official SNKRS Day, but that doesn't mean the brand is sitting still. In fact, Nike has something unique in store to bring their SNKRS app even more into the limelight. A must-have release will appear exclusively in the app this year: the Air Max 95 ‘Erosion’.

This special release, the Air Max 95 ‘Erosion’, gives an earthy twist to the classic silhouette and takes you on a journey through the forces of nature. The design is inspired by natural erosion processes, where elements such as water, wind and ice shape the landscape. Think of natural wonders like the Grand Canyon, where millions of years of erosion have resulted in impressive shapes and colours. This story comes to life in the upper of this sneaker design.

The Air Max 95 ‘Erosion’ plays with contrasts and textures to bring nature's story to life. The shoe is a combination of rich purple tones, deep browns and fresh blue accents.

The medial side of the shoe radiates with warm, earthy tones, while the lateral side contains a vibrant purple gradient, creating a striking and bold look. These colours reflect the layers of earth exposed during erosion.

Not only the colours, but also the details of the Air Max 95 ‘Erosion’ are thoughtful. A subtle topographical graphic adorns the heel, further emphasising the influence of the natural elements.

The insoles have a special graphic print that reads: ‘Nike Air Max 95 as if unearthed by the process of erosion’. This makes the sneaker not only an eye-catcher, but also a story you wear.

In addition, a light blue Air unit in the midsole provides extra comfort, while the black outsole features subtle PSI labelling - a nod to the innovative design details that make Nike innovative time and again.
