END. Clothing has a new partnership with Saucony. The two brands have chosen a striking theme as inspiration, namely: the brain. The brain is the most complex organ of the human body. END. and Saucony have put a lot of thought into the brain-inspired design of the Azura 2000. Different suede sections are used to emphasise the texture of the shoe. In addition, the grey squiggly overlays are reminiscent of the squiggles of the grey masses, and the different shades of pink are reminiscent of the fleshy anatomy of humans.
A fun element is the partially glow-in-the-dark outsole. The other parts of the sole are made transparent, so that you can see a brain pattern underneath. Finally, when you buy the collab, you get a pink miniature brain, in the shape of a stress ball.
END. Clothing
END. was founded in 2005 as a clothing retailer in Newcastle, England. At the time, it was very difficult to get luxury fashion brands in the UK, outside of London. Since their first shop opening, END. has grown tremendously and is now known worldwide. They still sell premium menswear from luxury designers and drop off exclusive sneakers. It is therefore not surprising that END. now has a collaboration with a sneaker brand.
Saucony
Saucony is an American athletic shoe brand founded in Kutztown, Pennsylvania in 1898. The name Saucony was inspired by Saucony Creek, a river that flowed through the town. You may have heard of the Grid cushioning system that is still used in the shoes today. The brand has had numerous collaborations with other brands over the years. Also, a while ago, a few Saucony models got hyped up by the dad shoe trend. For example, the Saucony Grid Web was bought a lot.
