In December 2020 the first colorway of the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High dropped. On January 5 Yoon Ahn, designer of the sneaker, showed a new colorway on the Dunk. She posted a photo on Instagram with a red AMBUSH Dunk on it.
Immediately her Instagram post received a lot of attention and the sneaker was shared en masse. We had a lot of hope for a new AMBUSH release, but unfortunately we can already let go of these rumours. Yoon Ahn has already said that this colorway is for her only. We are not going to see a release of this red colorway on the Dunk for the time being.
AMBUSH x Nike
Yoon Ahn is the first female designer to collaborate with Nike NBA. Yoon is also one of the first women to design a Nike Dunk. Besides being Director of jewellery at Dior Men, Yoon also designs for her own brand: AMBUSH. This is a high fashion brand from Tokyo that makes denim, jewellery, accessories and now also an NBA collection. Early 2020 the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High was first seen on the catwalk. December 2020 it was finally time for a worldwide release!

Unfortunately we cannot expect the red colorway. However, there is another new colorway waiting for us! A completely pink colorway. The pink AMBUSH x Nike Dunk is expected on Thursday the 14th of January. And there are also rumors about a blue colorway you can take a look at down below.
