With this programme, you can customise different sneaker models and create a pair that is completely to your taste. You can change the colours and materials of the overlays, the colours of the sole and much more. With Nike By You, you are the designer.
Nike Air Max 90 By You
The Nike Air Max 90 By You once again offers a range of options to design your own unique trainer. Deeply rooted in music, art and streetwear, this iconic shoe now gives you even more options to express your creativity and create a sneaker design that's just right for you.
The new customisation options allow you to personalise different parts of the shoe. You have control over elements such as the Swoosh, toebox, collar, toe, side panel, tongue, laces, lace panel, side panel, eyestays, heel and even the logo on the heel. You can also customise the sole, including the midsole, midsole, wedge, air bubble and outsole. For a truly personal touch, it is possible to replace the heel logo with your own text.
Although some materials are fixed, you can choose leather or canvas for most items. In addition, valentine colours have now been added so you can also surprise your loved one with a pair, all cupid style.

How to customise the Air Max 90 by You?
Once you have selected your size, the design process can begin. Due to the amount of different options, it can sometimes make it hard to choose. That's why we already have some examples of some custom Air max 90s for inspiration.
With the new by you options, you can go for classic leather or you can go for a summer look by adding canvas. This gives the shoe a vintage style.
The toebox and collar are also customisable. On the pair on the right, a canvas material coloured lilac-purple has been chosen. The toebox and collar count as one element and will thus be given the same colour.
What is also customisable is the outsole. While building, you have two choices. You can choose a plain outsole, which is available in five different colours. The other option is a gum sole. That is what is chosen for on the pair here on the left.
The Air Unit is also customisable. On the pair on the right here, an Air Unit that colours laser blue has been chosen. It is nicely combined here with the toe cap, collar and lace panel. The white mudguard and tongue make the blue stand out nicely and give the sneaker a classic look.
Do you prefer a design without too many bells and whistles? Then go for a monochrome look. You can do this by giving the midsole, outsole and upper the same colour. You can opt for all-leather or all canvas.
