Streetwear label Carrots comes together with PUMA to release an extensive collection consisting of the PUMA 180, Suede XL, and related garments. The entire collection is inspired by the color palette of oranges and natural elements. The Carrots x PUMA collab drops on July 5, 2024, at select retailers.
Carrots x PUMA
PUMA and Los Angeles-based label Carrots are joining forces for a summer scavenger hunt. Anwar Carrots, the founder of Carrots, has been a prominent figure in the fashion industry since 2015. A collaboration with PUMA is therefore a tactical move by both parties. The collaboration embraces the streetwear aesthetic and includes apparel and accessories in addition to sneakers.
One of the sneakers released by the duo is the Carrots x PUMA Suede XL in 'Rickie Orange' and 'Warm White' colorways. The sneaker takes inspiration from the classic PUMA Suede and adds a padded collar and tongue. Both colorways use the colors green and orange, reminiscent of carrots (aka Carrots).
In addition, a Carrots x PUMA 180 appears in a black and orange colorway. The upper uses Cordura, a material that is weather-resistant, and often used for backpacks, shoes, and military clothing. The sneaker comes with green details on the upper and a green outsole.
The clothing collection consists of cut-and-sewn items such as a hoodie and shorts. We also see a rugby shirt passing by, as well as a graphic tee, a cap, and a waistbag. Like the sneakers, the collection combines Carrots and PUMA logos in orange and shades of green.
