Artist J-Hope, known from the pop group BTS, was recently spotted wearing the Air Jordan 3 'Seoul 2.0' during the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. The first images of the sneaker surfaced a few months ago, and now we see the pair on foot for the first time.
Comeback
The 'Seoul 2.0' is a follow-up to the 'Seoul' release from seven years ago, which celebrated the 1988 Olympic Games. In 2020, the sneaker was re-released, but only in women’s sizes. The 'Seoul 2.0', however, will be available in larger sizes.
The updated version has a vintage look — somewhat ironically.
The sneaker features retro details, such as a yellowed midsole and a grey outsole. The iconic 'elephant print' on the sides now uses two shades of grey instead of black and grey. The heel features the classic 'Nike Air' logo.
The collar of the sneaker has been given a slightly different structure. It’s not yet clear whether the sneakers will again include Korean lettering on the inside of the tongue. What we do know is that the South Korean flag has once again been placed on the tongue of at least one of the shoes.
Jordan Brand has yet to share any official information about the release of the 'Seoul 2.0', but if the rumors are true, the sneaker will drop on May 15, 2025. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates.

No, for now it looks like the sneaker will also be released outside of Asia. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for details.
