After the successful debut of the Bode x Nike Astrograbber in 2024, the duo is bringing back the iconic silhouette in two striking colorways: the 'Black' and 'Chlorophyll,' which were recently unveiled during Paris Fashion Week. The collaboration is set to drop on March 21, 2025, via Nike SNKRS.
The Bode x Nike Astrograbber was arguably one of the most eye-catching releases of 2024. The sneaker paid homage to Nike's football history and was one of Nike's first shoes designed for American football. The Astrograbber debuted shortly after the groundbreaking Waffle Trainer from 1974.
The sneaker was released in two colorways. Notably, the 'Natural' colorway, featuring a crocheted upper with playful charms, was a hit and remains on my wishlist. The other colorway, the 'Black,' had a worn-in look and was constructed from sturdy leather.
Less than a year after the first collaboration between the two brands, Bode now unveils the next colorways of the Nike silhouette. The 'Black' colorway immediately recalls the 'Natural' colorway, featuring a woven upper with the same details. The 'Chlorophyll' colorway, on the other hand, uses smooth leather.
Shortly after the first images were shared, Nike announced the release dates. The 'Chlorophyll' will drop on March 14, 2025, exclusively at Bode. The 'Black' colorway will release on March 21, 2025, via Nike SNKRS.
