Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship SP 'Game Royal'

Following the release of the Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship PE SP 'University Red' earlier this year, this sneaker now appears in a second colorway: 'Game Royal'. The release uses the same details as its predecessor, but instead of the color red on the collar and Swoosh, it now uses the color blue.

Last year, Awake NY and Nike joined forces and unveiled the Air Ship, an underrated sneaker considered the predecessor to the Air Jordan 1 High. The model appeared in a 'University Red' colorway that used a snake print on the collar. A striking release, though people seemed to be more excited about the bomber jacket that came with the release.

Now the New York-based label is bringing the release back, only this time with dark blue details. The Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship SP 'Game Royal' features a sleek colorway. The upper is tumbled white leather. The collar uses a snake pattern that has a shiny finish. The yellowed midsole gives the pair a retro touch.

The Swoosh is colored silver. On the instep, the “A” of Awake NY is stitched into the leather. The sneaker drops on November 2, 2024, at Awake NY and select retailers. Check out the first images of the sneaker below and don't miss this release.
