The atmos BAPE adidas Superstar ‘Glow In The Dark’ is the latest result of a collaboration between three big names in the trainer world. The release comes at a time when atmos is marking its 25th anniversary with teasers of upcoming collaborations.
The release comes with two colorways. The first, officially unveiled trainer from the pack features a black leather upper with a subtle camo relief. Gold-tone lace dubraes provide a sleek finish.
The glow-in-the-dark accents on the Three Stripes, the BAPE STA logo and the heel allude to previous collaborations from the G-SNK archive of atmos.
In contrast, the second release shown uses a grey and black colorway that uses the BAPE motif from head to toe. Like the black silhouette, this release also has glow-in-the-dark details that light up in the dark.
In addition, creative director Hirofumi Kojima previously revealed on social media that projects with On Running, New Balance, and adidas, among others, are forthcoming. This Superstar is one of the first designs that has now been officially unveiled.
According to Kojima, the atmos BAPE adidas Superstar ‘Glow In The Dark’ releases will be available exclusively during atmoscon in Japan. The event will take place from 19 to 20 April 2025. The collaboration will not be released through regular retailers so far and the exact price has not been confirmed yet either.
