Boutique Aimé Leon Dore recently showed their SS22 collection. This collection featured several clothing items, but also showed three New Balance sneakers. Thus, the two brands come with two colorways of the New Balance 991 and the 990v2 also gets a new colorway.
This is not the first time New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore have collaborated. For example, in 2020, the clothing boutique re-released the New Balance 550. The two names also worked on a lot of other models wich you can check out here.
Now the two brands are coming up with a new pack. In this pack, two colorways of the 991 are featured. Also, New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore are dropping a 990v2. All three sneakers have a retro look and use the materials suede, mesh and leather.
The New Balance 991 comes in a brown and grey colorway. Here, the upper of both pairs colours white and the brown pair combines different shades of brown on the overlays. The N logo on the center panel turns grey, as do the details in the midsoles.
The second colorway of the 991 combines a white upper with grey overlays. The N logo on the center panel turns blue-grey. The 990v2 colours off-white from head to toe and has a chunky look. The overlays and the N logo have been given a light shade of grey.
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance pack does not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect the sneakers in 2022.
