Popular skating brand Dime has showcased an upcoming project with adidas Skateboarding this week. This collaboration will feature two different colorways of the adidas Dime Superstar ADV. This pairs with a whole apparel collection designed by the collabarating brands. The collab will drop on May, 13, 2023 on the Dime website and on May, 14, at the adidas website and selected skate retailers.
After working on the 1RTL Moab project they worked on earlier this year. Dime is jumping into collaborations this week with adidas being the latest. The apparel exists of two branded tracksuits in baby blue and solid black pallets. These pieces are cut with some typical 80's inspiration. This means that the tracksuits are cut with a roomier that's perfect for being comfortable while skateboarding.
“It’s both humbling and an incredible honor to have partnered with a global and respected brand like adidas Skateboarding for this collection,” says Dime’s Mark Regimbal.
“We had full access to their deep catalog and resources that opened our world to endless artistic possibilities. The adidas team made the creative process fun and easy for us while honoring our values as a brand. We loved working with adidas and featuring our city for the world to see. At the end of the day it should be about contributing to communities positively with premium products and we hope this collection does just that.”
Next to the apparel, Dime gets a shot to work on the adidas Superstar ADV in two different colorways. Both sneakers get a full-grain leather upper, and the heels have the infamous 'wave design' on them. The three stripes are from patent leather with a small mix of colors. To finish the sneaker you can see Tonal restoration graphics on the tongues with 70% smoked rubber outsoles.
The items will soon be available. Check out the pictures of the whole collection down below and if you want to stay up to date with news like this, make sure to keep an eye out for our Sneakerjagers news page.
