After the success of previous collaborations between Action Bronson and New Balance, think the 990v6 and 1906R, the duo will release their next collab next month. On November 1, 2024, the rapper will release a FuelCell Rebel v4 and M10 Minimus Trail, both in striking colorways.
In 2023, rapper Action Bronson and host of cooking show 'F*ck That's Delicious' collaborated with New Balance for the first time. After several successful releases, including the 990v6 'Baklava' and the recently re-released 1906R 'Rosewater,' the first images of another collaboration appeared recently.
This collaboration features two lesser-known silhouettes; the M10 Minimus Trail and FuelCell Rebel v4. Both sneakers are designed for trail running and hiking. Besides Action's passion for hip-hop and good food, the artist also has a great passion for fitness and working out, as his Instagram account also indicates.
“I made these shoes because I actually perform, I need them. I need them to train, I need them to run. Yeah, they look amazing, but it’s all about the performance,” Action said in a statement.
So the choice of these two silhouettes is not entirely without reason. The first sneaker from the collab, the M10 Minimus Trail, features a colorful colorway. One that reminds us of the 990v6 'Balaklava' (2023). The upper uses different types of mesh that give the shoe flexibility.
The FuelCell Rebel v4 has a slightly futuristic look and uses angular details on the sole. The upper uses a rust brown hue combined with bright orange details. Coarse elements in the outsole offer traction and grip.
